Resolution Session Aims

What can I expect from the session?

Our aim is to help you better understand your resolution options. We shall sign-post you to services and professionals who can help you and the options available for you to resolve your conflict under one of our Pathways.

Will I have to use your services?

Our clients often find ways to self-resolve their conflict with our help and do not need further intervention or assistance. However, we’re here for you if you need us.

If you decide to resolve your conflict using one of our experts, we will connect you with a professional and help you to start resolving your conflict.

Core Resolution Pathways

Key pathways to achieve resolution

1. Self-Resolve Pathway

You can manage your own situation. You may need some professional advice and guidance but no formal intervention is needed. You may need some independent support such as Conflict Coaching to help equip you with the necessary skills.

2. Neutral Support Pathway

You need some support to help each person to reach an agreement. You may need some independent advice or guidance to help you reach an agreement and/or you may need professional support to help you on an individual basis.

3. Decision Making Pathway

You need someone to make a decision for you. This may be a jointly instructed professional such as an arbitrator or other expert, or it may be an Ombudsman, court, or tribunal. You may need to instruct a professional to provide advice and guidance or representation.

Resolution Session FAQs

  • What happens when I submit the online form?

When you submit the online form, you will be automatically directed to our bookings page. Select the next available time and you will receive an email confirmation with your booking details. Make sure you attend the session (in-person or by telephone). If the session is by telephone, we will call you on the number provided on or shortly after the allotted time.

  • What happens after the Resolution Session?

You will receive an email with an outcome following your conversation. You will be directed towards any services that you may need to access to help you resolve your matter. This may include third party organisations such as Ombusdman, Citizens Advice, or similar places of support.

  • Do I have to pay for the Resolution Session?

These sessions are free. You will not be asked to pay towards the cost of providing the sign-posting advice. If you decide to engage with our services, we will confirm the relevant charges.

  • Can I have more than one Resolution Session?

The number of sessions you need will depend on the nature of the dispute and what assistance you need.  Please note that where there is a higher demand for sessions, we will prioritise first-time clients.

  • Are you providing me with legal advice?

We do not provide any legal or other advice as part of these sessions. This is a sign-posting service to help you understand how to resolve your conflict.

If you need to speak to a lawyer or another professional, we will include this as part of your outcome advisory note. If your issue requires formal support or intervention, we will direct you to the relevant practitioners or providers.
